A hot tub that no longer works is one of the hardest things to get rid of. It's too big for curbside pickup, usually too heavy to move in one piece, and often sits behind a fence or on a deck with no easy way out. Gone By Five removes old hot tubs and spas and hauls away every piece.
Most tubs have to be cut into sections so they can be carried out through a gate or around the house. We do the cutting, carry the pieces to the trailer and take the cover, steps and any wood surround along with it. If the tub sits on a deck that's also coming out, we can quote the deck teardown in the same visit.
Before we arrive, the tub needs to be drained and the power disconnected at the breaker by an electrician. We don't do electrical work. Send a few photos showing the tub, the path out to the driveway and any fences or gates, and we'll reply with a written quote.
